We welcome everyone for Janmashtami, the auspicious appearance day of Lord Krishna. The event will start on Thursday 25th August at 17.30 with many activities such as kirtan, abhishek, dramatic readings from the Krishna book followed by quizzes, video presentations and many more activities. We will then have the midnight arati followed by a vegetarian feast.

The following day on Friday 26th August, we will also be celebrating Srila Prabhupada’s appearance day starting at 17.30 until 21.30 with activities such as kirtan, videos of Srila Prabhupada, offerings to Srila Prabhupada, which is a great opportunity for devotees to offer their letter of appreciation to Srila Prabhupada.

For this 2 festivals to be successful we will also need the help of volunteers. Anyone can help in whichever way they like. We will start by doing a maha clean up on Monday 22nd at around 17.30, we will appreciate any help in this regard.
